How AI may be used.
AI-assisted technologies may support research, summarization, drafting, workflow automation, knowledge management, project administration, monitoring, analysis and other professional or administrative activities. The specific tools and uses may vary by engagement and business function.
Human accountability.
AI is used as an assistive technology. It does not replace professional judgment, supervisory responsibility, regulatory accountability or the responsibilities assigned under an engagement agreement. Material outputs may be reviewed, modified, rejected or supplemented by qualified personnel before they are relied upon or delivered.
Transparency and AI-generated content.
Where applicable law requires notice that a person is interacting with an AI system, or requires AI-generated or AI-manipulated content to be identified, marked or labeled, Compliance.Network applies appropriate transparency measures based on the use case and jurisdiction. Human-reviewed professional work may incorporate AI assistance without transferring responsibility for the work to the technology.
Privacy, confidentiality and security.
Use of AI involving personal, confidential, client or regulated information is subject to applicable privacy, confidentiality, cybersecurity, contractual, records-management and data-protection requirements. We apply data minimization and access controls appropriate to the use case and seek to use approved business environments for professional information.
Automated decisions.
AI-assisted analysis does not by itself determine professional or regulatory responsibility. Where an AI-enabled process could materially affect an individual, the need for notice, human review, challenge or appeal rights, data-protection safeguards and other controls is evaluated under applicable law and the relevant engagement.
United States.
Our U.S. approach is designed to account for applicable federal and state requirements concerning truthful representations, consumer protection, privacy, security, discrimination, AI disclosure and automated decision-making. Requirements may vary by state, industry and use case.
Argentina.
For activities subject to Argentine requirements, our approach is designed to account for applicable personal-data protections, including Law No. 25,326, and guidance from the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública concerning transparency and protection of personal data in the responsible use of artificial intelligence.
Europe.
For activities subject to European Union requirements, our approach is designed to account for applicable requirements of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act, including transparency obligations where applicable, together with applicable data-protection and privacy requirements. Requirements in other European jurisdictions are evaluated separately as applicable.
Other jurisdictions.
Compliance.Network may support work involving additional jurisdictions. AI governance and transparency controls are applied based on the laws, regulations, client requirements and contractual obligations relevant to the specific activity. This page describes our operating approach and is not a representation that every AI law applies to every service or engagement.
